The WWE roster is full to the brim with talent. From the headliners to the mid-carders, there are plenty of unique athletes and personas. But if you look deeper, the roster can be divided into three sections.
At the bottom, you have the underappreciated and underdeveloped talent. Due to this lack of development, the audience doesn’t care about quite a lot of these superstars. On the other side of the spectrum, you have the chosen ones – the superstars handpicked by management to be the face of the company that will likely remain in the main event scene (whether the WWE Universe wants them to or not).
But somewhere in between, we have a different class of superstars. These guys continually produce the best matches and put on the best shows they possibly can to keep us all entertained. Despite the fact that plenty of them are headliners, they are continually saddled with questionable mid-card material in order to keep them out of the main event scene – and it’s pretty clear that they deserve better.
With that in mind, let’s take a look at the five WWE Superstars that deserve better storylines from the company.
