We have all witnessed bizarre things in our lives, but clearly, the crew at Alaska airport takes the trophy. The staff members found themselves in the company of two polar bears on Thursday morning. Around 6:30 am, at the Wily Post Will Rogers Memorial Airport a man, Scott Babock saw what he thought were wolves on the runway. But when he got closer, he realised it was a pair of polar bears.

According to the reports, Babock explained that federal law prevents the foremen at the airport from harassing marine animals. Hence, it was difficult for him and his team to move the polar bears from the runway. They tried using torchlight to move the polar bears but they moved off the airfield on their own wish and whims.
“They saw me at the same time I saw them they turned and ran and I followed to make sure they didn’t run towards the fence or town,” he wrote on his Facebook post and shared a video of the polar bears.

According to Babock, Polar bears on the airfield are a huge safety concern. “Lots of things could go wrong very quick if someone stepped outside a building and encountered one of these guys especially if they were backed up against a fence. Animal control was called and they dealt with them,” he said.
We are messing around with their natural habitat and it looks like these polar bears are reminding us of the quote – live and let live.
