After playing for a short period of time in Russia, the 25 year old setter and captain of the French national team has decided Toniutti will continue his career in Germany and play for VfB Friedrichshafen.
He will replace the injured Simon Tischer.
He will join Jenia Grebennikov, the libero of the French national team and his friend from Argo de Sète, Baptiste Geiler.

VfB Friedrichshafen is currently first in the Bundesliga standings. In the CEV Champions League, they were the second team in their pool with three wins and three losses (Zenit Kazan was first). VfB Friedrichshafen will continue to the playoff phase and will play against a strong Asseco Resovia Rzeszow from Poland.
