Don’t shy away from reaching out for a box of tissues after reading this touching story of a brother and sister.
One Saturday morning 17-year-old Mohammed Hasher came down stairs to find his six-year-old sister, Noor sitting all alone looking morose. On asking why, Noor said that there was a father -daughter dance at her school for which she couldn’t go.
The past few months have been rather rough on Mohammed and Noor, following their parents’ divorce, the two were left homeless for nearly two months. They haven’t spoken to their father ever since the divorce. Their mother revealed that the divorce has been especially hard on Noor, because she was too little to comprehend things.
Just when little Noor lost all hope about going for her first ‘Father-Daughter’ dance, Mohammed came around to give her surprise.
Speaking to Buzzfeed Mohammed said, ‘”I wasn’t going to let my little sister be the one out of all her friends to not be at the dance, ‘ and so he took Noor shopping, bought her new dress and played the role of a dad on the dancefloor.
The teen tweeted heart-warming pictures from the event and wrote,’ Got to take my baby sister to her first daddy-daughter dance the other night Sorry you don’t have a dad but I’ll always be there for you.’ That night Noor got a box of candy while Mohammed won the ‘Best Dad’ award
Their story soon went viral and left millions overwhelmed, check out the tweets below:
