ATLANTA — An Alabama rapper was arrested Wednesday in a drug raid, and police said Kelvin James Dark, 37, threw several kilos of meth from the balcony of an Atlanta high rise. Georgia Bureau of Investigation agents and Atlanta police also arrested Tiffany Peterson, 33, of Atlanta, in the raid. The arrests were part of an investigation into contraband smuggling via domestic and international flights.
Dark, aka “K Digga” and “Mr. Alabama,” is a self-proclaimed rapper and sports agent, officials said. Police recovered the drugs from the street below the building.
Authorities say Dark is charged with trafficking methamphetamine, trafficking marijuana, and possession of a firearm by convicted felon.
Peterson is charged with trafficking methamphetamine, trafficking marijuana, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.
