It’s not a good time to be named Jeffrey Epstein.
A publicist for Disney who shares the same name as the dead convicted pedophile has been getting hammered with nasty comments and mentions on social media from people who think he’s “THAT Epstein.”
“Rot in hell you pervert!” wrote one Twitter user.
“Go to hell, child rapist!” another said.

Countless people were tagging the Disney Epstein — who later put posted his middle initial to try and clear up the confusion — in posts over the weekend after “the monster” Epstein allegedly committed suicide.
“@jeffreyepstein KILLED HIMSELF IN JAIL,” said an Instagram user.
“Um. Hi. No. Pretty sure I didn’t,” replied Epstein, the PR rep. “Wrong Jeffrey Epstein.”
“Idk but you love Disney a little too much,” a Twitter user told him. “Maybe the @FBI should investigate you and what is on your computer.”
Epstein shared screenshots of several comments, saying: “How was your weekend?”
“I guess I should appreciate all the RIPs, but I’m not dead,” he wrote Saturday. “And I’m still *not* THAT Jeffrey Epstein.”
A number of people — including celebrities — have offered kind words of support to the Disney rep, who first started getting targeted on social media following Epstein’s arrest in July.
“General PSA: My friend [Disney’s Jeffrey Epstein] has the same name as the monster arrested today, but he is not THAT #JeffreyEpstein yet his feed is in shambles,” tweeted actress Yvette Nicole Brown at the time. “Nicest guy EVER.”
Epstein shared a photo of the two of them on Monday, thanking Brown for her “love and friendship.” Of course, it garnered tweets from confused social media users.
“I don’t get it. Isn’t this the guy who died?” replied one person.
“I would hope the 2 different faces would help you see they are in fact 2 different people,” another said.
“I don’t I thought he aged or some s–t,” answered the first user.
