As of right now, Braun Strowman has become the hottest rising star in WWE. Despite this, plans for Roman Reigns to challenge Brock Lesnar at Wrestlemania 34 for the WWE Universal Championship are back on.
While that match was always been the original plan from the beginning, it was being considered to be moved up for the main event of SummerSlam before the company decided to nix that and add Strowman and Samoa Joe into the mix.
One main sign of Paul Heyman’s influence in the booking of the Universal Title Match at SummerSlam was that there was a significant concentration on the superstars doing moves that will definitely win over the audience. These moves were repeated several times with the idea that it will keep the fans glued in into the match.
